Description: A workshop on “Kalaripayattu”, an Indian Marital Art, was organized at St. Joseph Inter College, Thakurganj on 23/04/2018. The program began with the blessing by Smt. Pushplata Agarwal, Founder Chairperson of St. Joseph Group of Institutions.
The purpose behind the workshop was to motivate the students, especially girls, to lean this Indian Marital Art for their self defense. Students of most schools from all the states will be covered under this mission.The team of “Kalaripayattu” displayed their art which was highly exiting and heart throbbing and hence greatly appreciated by everyone. The Managing Directors of the school Mr. Rajesh Agrawal and Mrs. Seema Agrawal motivated the students to learn this art for their self defense. On this occasion, Mr. Anurag Mishra ‘Annu’ (UP State President of Kalaripayattu), Mr. Ameel Shamshi ( State Vice President) and Mr. Pravin Gang (State Secretary) were also present.At the end.
