I Next, 16^thNov, 2019 Annual Sports Meet - SPARDHA 2019 Annual Sports Meet – SPARDHA 2019 'Neeru Memorial' Inter Branch Annual Sports Meet, 'SPARDHA', which was conducted by the St. Joseph Group of Institutions. The meet which is being held over the course of three days at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium is set to become the marquee event of the institution's academic calendar. The event was graced by the presence of reputed dignitaries such as Shri Abhishek Prakash, District Magistrate, who highlighted the fact that this was his first visit to a school event in Lucknow. The students were fortunate to be in the presence of the star hockey player of the Indian national team, Shri Lalit Upadhyay. The event was also graced by the presence of other dignitaries such as Dr Mukesh Kumar Singh, DIOS Lucknow, Shri Surendra Tiwari, Joint Director Education, Shri Ajay Mittal, Executive Engineer, UP AVP, and Shri Sadhguru Sharan Awasthi, Editor Dainik Jagran. As many as 3000 parents, children and staff were in attendance at the event on the very first day. The institution's managing director, Shri Anil Agarwal stated, "It is time for all sports, not just cricket, to begin prospering in these times. Events such as Spardha help students realize their own true potential."
